Adidas Pureboost X

One again, Adidas does it what it does best by blending style and function in a shoe you can wear while pounding roadways or window-shopping. The Pureboost X 3.0 is the latest version of the brand’s Pureboost line to boast Boost cushioning technology. This cushioning material is made of tiny Boost beads that come together like Styrofoam to provide an extremely responsive yet bouncy ride. Combined with the flexible Stretchweb rubber on the outsole that provides a soft, comfortable landing, this shoe feels noticeably springier compared to other jogging shoes. But Adidas wouldn’t be Adidas without finding some way to stand out from the crowd and the uppers of this shoe are what set it apart. Yes, Stella McCartney designed several in this line. But what makes them even more unique is that the tongue is attached to the upper and the engineered mesh is extremely thin, both of which make for a superior sock-like fit that can conform to the shape of a woman’s foot.
