At ShoeKicker, we love the Adrenaline GTS—we even named it our top stability shoe for men and women. The ASR is just the Adrenaline GTS for trails. And Just like the GTS, the ASR is an objectively wonderful stability shoes. If it were just fit, feel, and cushion, this would be our favorite trail shoe on the list. Unfortunately, the ASR—even though it’s intended for off road running—lacks many of the bells and whistles of the best trail shoes. The shoe’s outsole traction lacks grip and it’s missing the protective rock plate found on several other shoes on the list. It’s a great shoe that should be reserved for non-technical trails.
