Nike’s Terra Kiger 4 weighs in just a tenth of an ounce less than the Challenger, but it’s a very different kind of trail shoe. The flexible and responsive sole with an integrated Air unit in the heel is similar to Nike’s road shoes, and the Flymesh upper with Flywire cables is nearly identical to the system used on recent Pegasus models. On fire roads and maintained trails, the Terra Kiger is prepped for flight.
