And speaking of slipping around, the Epic React Flyknit has a foam heel clip inside the shoe to keep the heel from slipping and provide stability to the entire rear of your foot. The patented React foam continues to evolve cushioning beyond just being soft and supportive by providing responsiveness with the road as well. This shoe harnesses the energy you put out and gives it right back so you feel almost thrust forward. Like so many of these shoes’ outsoles, rubber is only used on the heel and forefoot so you stay as light as a feather while still maintaining traction where you need it most. But that Nike swoosh is something none of these other brands will ever have and, for a Nike lover, there’s just nothing like it.
